Goodbye Blog!

I have a brand new blog....and it is a brand new place! I'm kind of sad to leave this one because it has served me well. This is where I first started posting work before I even had a website, but it's time for an upgrade! Zipporah

My good friend Dawntoya was in town from Memphis and debuted her new baby girl, Zipporah! She is only 8 weeks old, but is already the cutest thing ever! Little Z was a trooper through pictures and here are a few of my faves!

Lily

Hung out with little Lily and her parents last week and got some cute shots! Lily is a natural in front of the camera and was so cooperative! I loved it! Here are some of my faves!

Baby Brielle

Brielle Reese is the newest addition to my friend Michael and Tiffany's family! She is only about three weeks old, but she is already super cute...so she definitely takes after her good looking parents! I have seen Michael and Tiffany date, marry, and now start their family and it is such a blessing to be apart of it all! I look forward to seeing this little one grow up because she's going to be a heart breaker! Here are a few of my faves!

Heather + Chris

Heather has been one of my best friends for the past five years and now she is getting married! Chris persevered in confidence and won her heart and their wedding is set for January! While I won't be shooting the wedding (because I want to celebrate too!), I did get the opportunity to capture some photos of the two of them! They really just laugh...all the time...so it was easy to capture natural moments of them together! Here are some of my faves!

I have so many things I want to post! But am in the midst of catching up on things in the office from all my travels! I will try so hard to get a bunch of things posted this week, but until then I will leave you with this preview from a recent engagement session with this super cute couple. Reagan and Sabrina

I did an engagement session with Reagan and Sabrina a couple of weeks ago at the State Fair! They were a fun couple to hang out with and I had a great time people watching, eating things that were probably never meant to be fried, and getting some great shots of these two! Congratulations you guys and can't wait to shoot your wedding in March!

Kate and Brandon

I'm in Chicago right now and had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with Kate and Brandon yesterday! We strolled around the city and got some great shots! I love Chicago and all the beautiful areas and neighborhoods....and then you also have the beach....the diversity of locations is great! Here are some faves from the day....enjoy!

New Orleans

I am in New Orleans this week at a workshop! I haven't really spent much time in New Orleans before, but it's a very interesting city with lots of culture and some good food! I even saw Brad Pitt today riding down the street on a bike in the French Quarter....I kid you not! He actually rode by twice. That has probably been the highlight of my day today.....I usually see celebrities that are pretty non-relevant, but I would say Brad Pitt is right up there on my list of celebrities I wouldn't mind bumping into!
I am learning some great things here and we got to do some fun shoots this afternoon. There were brides all along Bourban Street with clusters of photographers all around them clicking away. We definitely drew a crowd today...you see a lot of things on Bourban Street, but that might have been a first! Here are a few of the images I snapped while we were out!
